Superb snow runs for 国产午夜福鈥檚 College in top team title race

国产午夜福鈥檚 College has carved up the slopes in perfect conditions at Mount Hutt to claim the Canterbury Secondary Schools Ski Championships team title.

Seven College skiers have featured in the top-10 individual slalom results, led by winner Seb Gray and Tomas Coberger in 3rd spot. All have relished the fresh powder, with Davy Orr, Freddy Gorman, Thomas Nustrini-Patterson, Josh Brown, and Tim Tolerton also showing peak form in their tightly contested runs.

Skiing and Snowboarding Master-in-Charge Monique Ellis-Martin points out that 鈥渢he College team features a mix of seasoned competitors and promising newcomers鈥.

鈥淚n one of the day鈥檚 highlights, Freddy, a Year 9 student, has gone head-to-head against Tomas, a very experienced Year 13 skier, capturing the spirit of the competition, with all ages racing together,鈥 she says. 鈥淚t was a day fill of excellent performances, team spirit, and outstanding results, with College proving once again to be a force on the snow.鈥

In the snowboarding runs, Kiki Anglem has soared to 2nd, missing the top time by just 0.72 seconds, while Joss Langman also has powered into the top eight.

Meanwhile, Freddy has impressed at the 2025 Snow Sports New Zealand Alpine Oyster Capital Youth Tech Camp at Coronet Peak.

The Year 9 alpine ski racer is among the select group of young Kiwis chosen to attend the camp based on their competitive potential.
